Minutes
The Leader introduced the report which provided the Committee with the status of the 2025/26 key indicators as at the end of Quarter 3.
The Committee discussed the report and made the following comments:
KPI: 2.10
The Head of Contracted Services agreed to circulate a written response on what the government target was compared to the KPI and information on the waste stream data.
Acknowledged that the number of garden waste subscribers had increased.
Questioned whether data was available on the uptake of the weekly food waste collections. The Head of Contracted Services responded that officers were in the process of gathering data.
KPI: 3.33
Sought clarification as to whether agreed extensions were accounted for in the data.
The Head of Planning and Infrastructure agreed to provide a written response explaining the data differences between applications determined within eight weeks and those with agreed extensions.
Questioned whether there should be a KPI around enforcement and encouraged the introduction of one if it was feasible.
Manydown South and Manydown Parcel 6A
Raised concern that the KPI did not set out clear targets and requested that set milestones be included within the KPI.
Suggested that a future committee meeting could focus on how the KPI’s for the major projects could be shaped.
Resolved: The Committee provides its comments to the Leader and notes the report.
