Consideration was given to a report of the Licensing Manager which sought approval to amend the current Taxi Licensing Policy in respect of the issuing of a restricted Private Hire Driver’s Licence.

An amendment was proposed to add other specialist passenger transport services of a social care nature to this category.
The following recommendation was proposed by Councillor Donnelly and seconded by Councillor Budzynski. Upon being put to the vote the motion was carried.
Resolved:
That the current policy adopted with effect from 1 January 2025 be amended in respect of the issuing of a restricted Private Hire Driver’s Licence to apply the revised policy and condition as set out in Annex 1 to the report.
